Energy Saver's fire resistant GlasPad evaporative media is manufactured from a special, impregnated glass fiber material featuring a cross-fluted, corrugated design with two different angles which allow for superb moisture absorption ensuring continuous humidification and evaporative cooling. The special inorganic construction makes GlasPad fire resistant, incombustible and rated as a Class II product per independent testing in accordance with UL 900.

The 15 degree angle slopes downward towards the inside of the unit while the steeper 45 degree angle should slope downward towards the hot air entering side. Media MUST be installed correctly or the air will not be cooled as much as it could be and water could be pulled off the media.

NOTE: New pads may have a slight “start-up” odor. This odor occurs from the dust created during the manufacturing process.
